College Football Picks Week 4

Ladies and Gentlemen –

It’s finally here….

The start of the Southeastern Conference College Football Season.

Certainly not to take anything away from the excitement of the ACC season start…

Gosh, we all enjoyed watching the North Carolina Tar Heels take on Eastern Blue Ridge Fashionista College of Hair Weaves and Cosmetics. (It was riveting…)

And much like you I watched the Number One Clemson Tigers battle the Custom School of Taxidermy from Danielsville Georgia
(Was that not an edge of your seat nail bitter?)

But this is “Big Boy” Football this weekend

Amen….

Enjoy Your Games

Weekend Rewind…

Thanks to the supervision of “Doc” The World-Famous Black Lab, Your Favorite College Football Prognosticator bounced back slightly last weekend at 17 and 5 or 77%, raising the overall numbers after three weeks to 37 and 15 or 71%.

I know that these numbers are FAR below what you would expect from The CFB Wizard.

But in all fairness, I have never (ever) had to depend on a win or loss from Liberty or the Western Missouri Technical College of Muffler Repair to determine my percentages.

Just saying…

COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEWS

THE AP POLL: Here we go again….

Every single time these Bozo’s open their collective mouths they make me look like a genius.

So, let me be sure I got this right.

YOU Rank Ohio State Number 2 to start the season…..
(Even though they weren’t playing college football)

Two weeks later, YOU rank them Number One in the Country despite not playing any college football games until later October and even with that NOT playing anything close to a full schedule of ten games.

Do you really expect us college football fans to take you seriously?

Do you really?

ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY: Speaking of stupid…

With several BIG Southeastern Conference games on the slate this weekend…

They choose to have the location for this Saturday’s College Gameday at..
(Wait for it)

Miami
“Highlighting” the 2-0 Miami Hurricanes and the 0-1 Florida State Seminoles.
(Exciting, right?)

Somebody is coming out of this game the worst team in the state of Florida.

Not that the “winner” will be considered “all that” either

So, there is that…

GEORGIA: I have refrained from talking (so far…) about the horrible state of college football commentators that we are forced to endure during the season.

This may be an “Oldie”, but it’s still a “goodie”

God Bless Larry Munson

LIBERTY: We SEE You…….

NAVY: See what a good week of practice will do you for you?

You are Welcome

KANSAS: This past week one of the Greatest players to ever (ever) wear the uniform passed away.

The “Kansas Comet” Gail Sayers passed away…

College Football Hall of Fame, Pro Football Hall of Fame

Not only was a he a great football player, he was an even better human being.

This one hurts me

THE CFB WIZARD EMAIL OF THE WEEK

Q: Dear Sir

We would like to qualify a statement that was made last week by our university.

Here at Florida State we pride ourselves on our honesty, transparency and integrity.

Well, all except that Jameis Winston thingy.

But that aside, we wish to clarify the condition of our Head Coach of the Seminoles.

What the Headlines said)

FSU Head Coach Tests Positive For COVID!

It was revealed Saturday that Florida State Head Coach Mike Norvell has tested positive for COVID 19. Norvell will be quarantined for the next 2 weeks while Deputy Head Coach Chris Thomsen will take over the play calling duties for this Saturday’s Miami game.

(What we really meant to say…)

With talk of the FSU program “Being Back”, it would highly embarrassing for Norvell to stand on the sidelines for another beat down after heavy underdog Georgia Tech thoroughly embarrassed the Seminole program in their 1st game. For his personal safety, Norvell will be “quarantined” in his home, complete with armed guards and barricades to ensure his safety from disgruntled fans.

Thank you

Dr. Emit J. Toodle
President
Florida State University
Tallahassee,Florida

A: We know that already sir, but thanks for the clarification.
